Customer Service, technical support, quotes, takeoffs and procurement

As Inside Sales Representative for Atlas Door and Hardware, Chad assists walk-in and phone customers with takeoffs and quotes to ensure customers have the materials and information to accurately complete each project. Chad also assists with estimating, technical support and scheduling of installation jobs and service calls.

Chad joined Atlas in 2013 and has 26 years of commercial construction experience, including door and hardware sales, commercial contractor sales, finish carpentry work, and installation of cabinets, doors and hardware.

Chad’s extensive product knowledge of door and hardware lines, finishes, configurations, specifications and installation processes as well as hands-on experience helps ensure that Atlas customers receive the correct materials, complete orders and the technical guidance to complete new installation or door and hardware replacement projects.

Brook Morrison

Operations Manager

Schedule installations and service calls, oversee fabrication shops, coordinate projects and provide technical support

As Operations Manager for Atlas Door and Hardware, Brook works closely with customers and Atlas staff to coordinate projects, manage production in the fabrication shops and field, schedule installations and service calls, and provide technical support for customers and employees.

Brook joined Atlas in 2012 and has 25 years of commercial door and hardware experience. In previous positions he served as Service Manager, Shop Foreman, and Installation Technician and developed extensive technical knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and project management experience.

Brook’s broad experience in all facets of wood and metal door and frame fabrication, hardware specifications and installation, electrical wiring, glass cutting, and locksmith techniques helps keep all aspects of Atlas Door and Hardware’s operations running efficiently and on schedule.

Clients especially appreciate Brook’s thorough technical knowledge and ability to provide accurate assessments of renovation work, service needs, and new projects requirements.

Brook served in the U.S. Marine Corp and as part of the Multi-National Peacekeeping Force in Beirut, Lebanon. He was awarded medals for Sea Service, Expeditionary and Good Conduct.

Roger Slapnicker

VP and General Manager

Oversight of sales, purchasing and installation, service, scheduling and the fabrication shop

As Vice President and General Manager of Atlas Door and Hardware, Roger Slapnicker is responsible for oversight of sales, purchasing, and management of all operations including installation, service, scheduling, and the fabrication shop. Roger’s responsibilities also include vendor relationships and supervision of Atlas’s walk-in sales and service counter.

Roger joined Atlas in 2012 and has 27 years of experience in all facets of the door and hardware industry. His professional career began in the wood and metal fabrication shops. With a solid technical foundation, Roger steadily assumed additional responsibilities as an installation and service crew leader, estimator, project manager, and sales representative.

In 2017, Roger was named Vice President of Atlas Door and Hardware and added to the board of directors of Atlas’s parent company, Construction Systems, Inc.

Clients appreciate Roger’s comprehensive product and technical knowledge and his ability to take even the largest scale door and hardware projects seamlessly from design through installation. In 2012, Roger completed one of the largest door and hardware projects in central Ohio, the $3.7 million door and hardware package for the new $780 million Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

Roger’s broad experience in operations, sales, and management ensures that even the most complex projects are completed accurately and efficiently. Expertise in welding, electrical hardware wiring, hardware installation, glass cutting, woodworking and locksmith techniques, allows Roger to effectively communicate with service crews, security consultants, designers, and general contractors on complex projects. His knowledge of the submittals process including preparation of wiring diagrams, AIA billings and closeout documentation keeps projects on schedule and assures that every detail will be properly addressed.

Roger attended The Ohio State University, completing engineering and architecture coursework.

Bryan McQuade

Architectural Sales and Service Consultant

Consults with architects and contractors to specify, procure and install doors, frames and hardware

As Architectural Sales and Service Consultant for Atlas Door and Hardware, Bryan works closely with architects and contractors to specify, procure and install doors and hardware components for new construction and renovation projects.

Bryan joined Atlas in 2015 and has 32 years of commercial door and hardware sales experience and numerous top door sales and achievement awards. In previous positions he served as Business Development Manager, Architectural Consultant, LEED Champion, and Contract Sales.

Bryan’s thorough product and building code knowledge helps ensure that Atlas customers receive accurate door and hardware specifications, timely submittals, and on-time installation. Bryan’s expertise includes wood and metal door and frame fabrication and installation; hardware lines; aluminum storefront doors and frames; glass openings; finishes, specifications and installation; door schedules; takeoffs and estimating; procurement; and project management. Clients especially appreciate Bryan’s green building product knowledge.

Bryan is a LEED Green Associate through the U.S. Green Building Council. He is affiliated with the Door and Hardware Institute (DHI) and Construction Specifications Institute (CSI).

Bryan attended Hocking College, completing coursework in computer science and ceramic engineering. He has advanced sales training from the IBM Sales School. Bryan completed coursework to earn and maintain his LEED Green Associate designation. He is a Certified Onity Installer.

Matt Runyan

Warehouse Manager

Warehouse and logistics management

As Warehouse Manager for Atlas Door and Hardware, Matt is responsible for all incoming/outgoing shipping and receiving of materials. He labels and organizes outgoing materials to help ensure efficient jobsite installation. He is also responsible for the cleanliness, safety, and overall organization of the warehouse.

Matt joined Atlas in 2012 with 37 years of experience in the commercial construction industry, including 21 years of door and hardware experience. His previous positions include construction laborer, scaffold building, truck driver, and warehouse manager.

Matt’s certifications include Forklift Operator, Crane and Heavy Equipment Director, and First Aid. He is a Safety Training Officer and holds a CDL Class A license.

Matt attended The Ohio State University, completing sociology coursework.

Jimmy Steenrod

Shop Foreman

Shop production supervision

As Shop Foreman for Atlas Door and Hardware, Jimmy is responsible for scheduling all work, overseeing all production in both the metal and wood fabrication shops, and ensuring quality standards are met. He also assists the Warehouse Manager with scheduling deliveries, loading trucks, and customer pick up.

Jimmy joined Atlas in 2013 and has over 18 years in the commercial door and hardware industry, including positions as metal and wood shop fabricator, sales counter representative, and shop foreman. He also has experience as an excavator, truck driver, and in mechanical services.

Jimmy is a Certified Forklift Trainer and Heavy Equipment Operator. He holds a CDL Class A license and is certified in First Aid.
